In the winter of 2016 author Richard M Jones had exclusive access to the personal collection of a Mr George Cutcher, a former Royal Marine who had fought in the First World War and had gone on to live a full and active life. How he joined the Marines too young, how he trained future Kings in the gymnasium, going on to fight in both Gallipoli and the Somme before being medically discharged.
