O, sweet scented growths ever unfolding
And daring thieves of Hyperion's Light,
Thy fauvist beauty to my love must bring,
In the fullness of day or in lunar's light,
A rainbow's palate her heart to inspire
And open its gate to a loving admirer,
Whose own heart is filled with love and desire
And with passion burns as our star's own fire.
Yet, above all else you must stay sunfast,
Lest the power of your hues will not last
And their message too short will not persist,
