El 26 de septiembre de 2026 se publicará "Joy Division Eternal", una nueva caja en vivo de una de las bandas más influyentes de todos los tiempos.

El set recopila una multitud de fuentes de audio, desde grabaciones de audiencia hasta cintas de mesa de mezclas y transmisiones de radio internacionales, e incluye 16 grabaciones completas de conciertos de audio distribuidas en 14 CD, más aproximadamente 2 horas y 20 minutos de video en vivo en DVD, grabado entre marzo de 1979 y mayo de 1980, solo dos semanas antes de la trágica muerte de Ian Curtis.

La calidad de audio de estas fuentes varía mucho. La mayoría de las grabaciones de audiencia suenan exactamente como lo que son – grabadas por un fan entre la multitud – y varios conciertos han sido ampliamente pirateados. Aunque esto en circunstancias normales podría resultar en una oferta comercial subóptima, en este caso, Warner Music confía plenamente en que los fans de Joy Division se deleitarán con estos bootlegs oficiales y disfrutarán de las grabaciones de mayor calidad, especialmente aquellas que nunca antes se han escuchado.
