Ivanhoe - the Complete Series
All ten episodes from the 1970 BBC drama series. Based on the novel by Sir Walter Scott the series, set in Medieval England, follows the noble knight Ivanoe (Eric Flynn) as he returns home after a period of exile. When he returns, however, he finds that his home is now under the rule of the tyrannical King John (Tim Preece), the brother of the rightful heir to the throne.
As Ivanhoe battles to save the kingdom from ruin under John's rule, he also faces tough decisions in order to keep his love Rowena (Clare Jenkins) safe from harm. The episodes are: 'Clash of Arms', 'To the Death', 'Unmasked', 'Hunted', 'The Hostage', 'Condemned', 'The Black Knight', 'Templestowe', 'Time of Trial' and 'Saint Martin's Day'.
