This book is deals about Jainism with both primary and secondary sources; and chapter of this work divided into various parts based on details about Jainism in various aspects. This book deals totally four chapters with Introduction and Conclusion. The first chapter titled Origin of Jainism in India deals with Origin, Spread and Influence of Jainism in India and its influence in Economic development, Philosophical changes, Conversion of people from other religion to Jainism, literature, divisions and sub-division of Jainism.

The second chapter titled Emergency of Jainism in Kerala denotes about the formation and spread of Jainism, approach of rulers in the matter of Jainism. The Third Chapter of this book deals about Jainism in Palakkad, indicates about all important district of Palakkad, where Jainism temples and religion still exists along with details of present changes and remaining building status.

The fourth Chapter of this book is Jain festival, which is celebrate in Palakkad and adjacent areas, entirely deals about different types of festivals of religion of Jainism and which days for which thirthangaras, rituals and customs, related with other festivals. Jainism, change the minds of people in different ways and strength its position it different aspects, and still continue its journey in distinguish manner.
