Soil is the fundamental element of intensive agricultural production, its degradation and particularly the decline in fertility due to the depletion of soil organic matter, nitrogen and other mineral elements, is often recognized as the basis of the fall in agricultural productivity in tropical Africa. Thus, a contribution of organic and mineral fertilizers including organic matter and DAP applied at planting to assess their effect on growth and productivity of groundnut varieties in Mulungu. The experiment was carried out during the B season for the period from February 23 to June 23, 2017 in Mulungu in South Kivu province, Kabare Territory; two varieties of groundnuts were used for this study including Bubanji JL24 and Locale Katana on a split-splot device of 25.60x11.2mThe results of work show a variability on the growth and the output of these two varieties vis-a-vis the fertilization containing DAP for 12Okg/ha and organic matter 30t/ha, the rate of emergence did not vary according to the varieties (P=0,6874) nor according to the fertilizers (P=0,4164) .
