Plaidoyer pour une Haïti Démocratique is a work of analysis of social facts that took place on the real political ground of the Haitian country from the relationships of forces in presence. The conclusion represents the mirror image of the social facts in relation to the strength of the moral degradation that runs through our miserable society. Quite often the men in the street and even those who master scientific knowledge ask this great question, namely, can one make democracy in misery? Certainly, there is a certain plausibility to this. But we can pose the problem in a way that questions the status quo, that is to say, can we continue to live in dictatorship because of the situation of misery that the Haitian man lives?
