There is a lack of literature on aftercare services for human trafficking victims, as the existing literature focuses on combating human trafficking. Researchers of general human trafficking, trafficker prosecution, and methods of combating human trafficking have raised concerns about aftercare services for the victims and survivors of human trafficking. The information obtained in this literature explored the experiences of service providers who provided services to human trafficking victims and survivors in a West South Central U. S. state.
