Integration and Convergence in Africa: Case of Cfa Countries Latif Dramani

This paper analyzes the process of integration and convergence in the two monetary zones in the franc zone: in this case the CEMAC in Central Africa and UEMOA in West Africa. The results show that the convergence process is more advanced and integration more pronounced in the UEMOA zone, although much remains to be done. The CEMAC zone, despite the potential of these countries still struggling to begin a process of real convergence and integration.
