Prevention of Iatrogenic Diseases in Veterinary Practice Gunjan Das

Iatrogenesis means "originating from a physician". Iatrogenic complications and diseases are important fall out of medical negligence including failure to maintain proper medical care, methodologies on the part of veterinarians and paraveterinarians. The iatrogenic diseases can be avoided, to a large extent, if proper awareness is given especially to the paraveterinarians in terms of asepsis measures, sterilization of instruments and adequate post operative care. Paraveterinarians have to take care of all the health problems of the livestock specially in rural areas where the veterinarians are not available. There is a communication gap between the information available with the educational institution and the personals rendering the veterinary services to the doorstep of the farmers. This book will help to know about the iatrogenic diseases in veterinary practice and take preventive measure.
