When he was a child, William Kunle Adeniyi lost both of his parents and found himself struggling through a cocoon of domestic abuse in the form of relentless bullying and through victimization of different kinds, including discrimination and abject poverty. Yet he survived.

As an adult, he left his homeland for a better life in the United States. His reality was far from the glamour of his imagination. Yet he was motivated and determined to push on to achieve his goal with perseverance and dignity.

Stegomyia: The Story of My Life is the autobiography of an everyman surviving, and ultimately thriving, in extraordinary circumstances. Writing for those also struggling, Adeniyi offers experience, hope, and the promise that no matter what, things will get better.
