This book is a true account of my journey from a first aider with a passion, to a registered medical practitioner. The good, the bad, the ugly and the miraculous. As a Medic, we see and experience things which are sometimes unthinkable. This book speaks about part of my progression in EMS. It speaks about crime, the impact that violence has, the horror of telling a family their child has died, to the miracle of bringing a baby into the world, the loss of life due to debilitating diseases, and the power of love and connection humans share. It's blunt, it's raw and it's from the heart.
