Auto Driver is Shashvathi's maiden poetry collection, a garland of the small nuances of everyday life, that make us a whole human. It is devoted to romanticising the everyday 'normal' in this world. It explores the contexts of observational romanticism, love, philosophy, art and the strange but beautiful, everyday condition of the human. It expels the poet's love for her hometown, Chennai (Madras), and the intriguing and beautiful experiences that come along with living in it.
