"When ten battle-hardened mercenaries turned ivory poachers enter a large game reserve in Tanzania, they first murder Tuli, the most experienced game ranger in the reserve. Then they set off for the elephants. Equipped with heavy automatic rifles, trucks to carry off the ivory, and electronic gear for protection, they are led by a man with superb hunting skills. Unable to warn other game rangers in time, Tuli's 16-year-old son and constant companion, Onkolo, realises that he may be the only person able to reach the elephant herd in time to protect them. But, like his father, he has only a bow and arrows. As Onkolo sets off on a desperate and frantic race to reach the elephants, he dodges wild-life predators as well as poachers. What can he possibly achieve?"
