Receiving the favor of God in the dismal, dry unproductive areas of your life. All of us go through wilderness experiences, places of loneliness, loveless, unproductive, little growth if any, no potential or possibilities times in our life's journey. But it is not to be a place of being deserted or ruined, a dead end. This is a place that is actually a part of my destiny where my true growth and learning happens. "The wilderness when I went to cause [her] to rest" (Jer 31: 2). Its not the where we are it's the how we go through. There is something that have been given to us, called Grace, the unmerited favor of God that is available and sufficient to bring us out and victorious.
