This book tells how the foursome of Fred and Mabel, Charlie and Deirdre came to know each other and grow into the senior citizens detailed in my Fred & Charlie series. Their lives were not without bumps, but Fred's desire to be a great detective, in spite of his success in his business life, keeps the plot thickening and scrambling. While Fred has a long and productive career as a machinery designer, Charlie stumbles into serious problems that have consequences for his life. The book ends with their move to the small growing town of Jerrod Idaho, a place you will never find on a map.
I live alone in a small single wide trailer. My church small group is my family. My joy is writing books and devotions. Fred & Charlie have been my constant companions for 10 years and I'm happy to have the chance to introduce them to you.
