This book is written by a lay person for the lay person. It provides, in an easy-to-read and understandable format, a walk through many of the amazingly accurate prophecies in the Bible. From Abraham to Jesus Christ, these prophecies demonstrate without question that the Bible is truly the only, inerrant Word of God. It will equip the Christian to easily respond to the "why the Bible" question. It will also provide the true searcher with a clear path to the Truth. Rich Akin was presented with the very specific prophecy in the book of Daniel regarding the Messiah at Lakeside Community Chapel in Clearwater, Florida. Soon thereafter, at the age of 43, Rich became a Christian. For more than 15 years, he has developed and presented courses on fulfilled prophecy and the scientific evidences for the existence of God in the United States, Hungary, Pakistan and Spain. He has previously served in senior capacities for several ministries, including Chief Operating Officer of the C. S. Lewis Society, a Christian apologetics ministry (www.apologetics.org). Rich is a Certified Public Accountant and former Major in the United States Marine Corps and Vietnam veteran. He resides in Clearwater with his wife, Linda, and his son, Trevor, who is a junior in college planning to attend seminary.
