Trudy had been a Christian for many years though she did not fully understand what being a Christian meant for many of those years. When she was in her mid-thirties the road to spiritual success suddenly had an unexplained detour. All the goals she had set for herself were leaving her empty and lifeless so she decided to abandon control and give her entire life to God to restore purpose and direction. Along the way she and her husband were led to a small Nebraska town where they restored a centuries old home. During the restoration of this home many of their experiences became inspiration for this book. Sometimes we have to believe in the things we cannot see. When relationships are falling apart, finances are stressed, or emotionally we are a wreck, we have to believe in the unseen answer to our need. Like the redbud tree, the hope that unfolds is beautiful and rewarding. It is when you know you are in the Master's hands. About the Author Trudy Kay Rowley and her husband Gary have been working on homes together since they were married 33 years ago. Over the years they have remodeled, built and restored homes and they have made some amazing personal discoveries about one other. Each project they worked on Trudy was able to see her personal growth and character begin to emerge as she allowed Christ to work in her life. In her deeply passionate style of writing she encourages the reader to step out of their comfort zone and allow God to direct the changes in their life. Trudy and Gary have one daughter and two wonderful grandchildren. For the last 25 years Trudy has grown from a woman trying to live a good life to a woman who is living the good life.
