As we all know, hard times abound in today's society. Many victims have turned to the church for some degree of financial support and prayer, just to be turned away due to a lack of funds. Annually, the churches in America collect and deposit over one hundred billion dollars into the local banks. However, the majority of those saints cannot go to those same banks and borrow a dime. Why does the church not receive any returns or benefits from this money? Could this be the reason why the church has been suffering financial defeat? With this current lack of stewardship, it is much more difficult in fulfilling our assignment regarding the Great Commission, Kingdom building, and to win the world by our example.
