Pinos is from Ecuador, South America, where he was a Christian counselor for more than twenty years, besides being the host for the Spanish radio program "Alcance Familiar" (family outreach), aired in the city of Cuenca, and a conference speaker. He has four children: Paul, David, Grace, and Joy.
