A Journey to the Promise Land, the millennium experience, is a travel biography and an eye-witness account of the Ethiopian Millennium celebrations, detailing the experiences and activities of the Author during the Ethiopian Millennium celebrations. The narratives contained in this book are a true account of the Author's experience and activities during the Ethiopian millennium. Apart from the chapters titled 'Background' 'Preparation' and 'Departure & Arrival' the rest of the chapters are titled Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 and so on. Each day gives an account of the Author's main activities and experiences. The last chapter is titled 'My Thoughts' This chapter is to a large extent the conclusion of the book and a reflection of The Author's thoughts, aspirations and vision for Africa for the new millennium.
