Moving to a new place can be scary, especially for a little kid! Gabriel's dad is in the army, so they move a lot. The family just arrived in a new city. Everything is unfamiliar, and it makes Gabriel nervous. There is so much to learn in this strange place. He has to make his way in a new city, at a new school, and around new friends. What will he do? What if he breaks a new rule at his new school? What if he does something silly, and all the strangers point and laugh? His fears make him angry, but he has no one to tell. All of his old friends are so far away! But to help with his anger and his fear, his mom gives him something to hope for. She says Gabriel will make new friends at his new school.
